I am 82 years old (so my mother tells me). I became a Christian at age 12 and made my first talk on Wednesday night before the entire assembly. I was preaching every Sunday at various congregations at age 16. I learned much between that time and continued to learn more till I entered college.
Of course, desiring to be a minister, I continued to learn more. I got married and began preaching full-time in different assemblies throughout the United States. having learned much more over the years, I quit preaching full-time in congregations after 35 years. I quit because I learned too much of the Bible that I had to quit. I began writing books concerning the Bible and have about 50 of them now. I conducted seminars during that time also.
I have had open-heart surgery and seven strokes and lost the use of my left side but I still write books. I have had to change what I preach a little every year. Added up, I have grown much over the years and still growing. Here's why ...
"And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, 3 for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men?" (1 Corinthians 3:1-4 - NASV.)
If you can, please refer my books to as many as you can. Yahweh bless you. ARE YOU ABLE TO RECEIVE WHAT I LEARNED?
